Project of gut microbiota analysis based on the Healthy Lifestyle Promotion Cohort in China

The project conducts metagenomic sequencing of gut microbiota based on the data of Healthy Lifestyle Promotion Cohort, which recruited general adults in China. This project plans to jointly analyze these gut microbiome data and population metadata, with the main aim of understanding the potential mechanisms underlying multiple chronic and mental diseases, thereby providing a basis for disease prevention and control.

本项目基于健康生活方式促进队列（Healthy Lifestyle Promotion Cohort）的队列数据开展肠道菌群宏基因组测序（metagenomic sequencing）工作，该队列招募了中国普通成年人群体。本项目拟联合分析上述肠道微生物组数据与人群元数据，核心目标为阐明多种慢性疾病与精神疾病的潜在发病机制，进而为疾病防控提供理论依据。
