Annual Composite Land Use Maps Supporting Hydrological Analysis in the State of Rio Grande do Sul - Brasil

This dataset is a collection of raster annual land use and land cover (LULC) maps designed for hydrological analysis in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The composite allows analysis of the transboundary watersheds of River Uruguai and Patos Lagoon and also broad regional analysis. Methods Each annual raster is a composite (mosaic) derived from the Mapbiomas initiative platform. The maps blends data from Brazil, Uruguai, Argentina and Paraguay over a rectangular extent centered at Rio Grande do Sul state.
