Data and Code for "Comparing Metapopulation Dynamics of Infectious Diseases under Different Models of Human Movement" by Daniel Citron et al. The two R markdown notebooks explain how to perform the analysis of malaria transmission and importation on Bioko Island in Equatorial Guinea. The notebook "Travel_Destination_Choice_Model.Rmd" explains how to model travelers' destination choices. (Supporting data: Raw_travel_data.csv). The notebook "Comparing_Metapopulation_Dynamics_companion_code.Rmd" explains how we use the travel models to generate the time at risk matrix (Dataset_S4_time_at_risk_matrix.csv) and use that matrix to produce estimates of R_0 across Bioko Island. (Supporting data: Dataset_S2_modeled_PR_and_travel.csv, Dataset_S3_travel_duration_data.csv)
