The dataset is organized into two main folders, corresponding to the analyses presented in Chapters 2 and 3 of the dissertation titled "Fertiliser-catalysed biochar production: an analytical and techno-economic feasibility study." The folder named TGA Data and Chemical Selection contains experimental data (for each of the three fertilising agents) collected using the Hitachi STA7300 horizontal-beam TGA-DTA system. The file named Chemical Selection was used to select the three best-performing chemical fertilising agents according to the criteria set in the dissertation. The Techno-Economic Feasibility Analysis folder includes the computational model and related files used to conduct the techno-economic analysis. The model provides both the Excel (.xlsx) and Python (.py) files, which were used to produce the data and figures that demonstrate the economic feasibility and process optimization discussed in the dissertation.
