STEAM AND STUDENTS' COMPETENCIES IN INDEPENDENT INFORMATION SEARCH

This article discusses the development of students’ competencies in independent information searching, critical analysis, and problem-solving based on STEAM education. The STEAM approach facilitates the formation of 21st-century skills through interdisciplinary integration, creative thinking, and practical projects. The article examines, on a scientific basis, the effectiveness of STEAM methods in the educational process, using theoretical, practical, experimental, and comparative methods aimed at developing practical solutions to information-related challenges. Ways to enhance modern innovative skills are outlined, and recommendations are provided emphasizing that the STEAM topic serves as a key factor in engaging the attention of learners.
