本研究依托一套整合均质化降水数据库的构建工作，采用RegRAIN插值模型生成该降水要素的气候面数据，借此得以开展内华达山脉（Sierra Nevada）的降水气候学特征研究。

所获取的降水气候面数据以栅格（raster）格式存储，涵盖年尺度与季节尺度等不同时间周期。
