Comaprision of P.falciparum clinical isolates showing Uncomplicated disease with that shwoing complicated disease(Cerebral malaria) The experiment was designed to try and identify differences if any, at the genome level between P.falciparum isolates from patients with uncomplicated malaria vs. patients with complicated malaria (Cerebral malaria). The emphasis was to highlight possible amplifications/deletions in different regions of the parasite genome. 本数据集针对恶性疟原虫(Plasmodium falciparum)临床分离株开展对照分析,比对分别来自单纯性疟疾感染者与重症疟疾(脑型疟疾)患者的分离株。
本实验旨在探究两类患者所感染的P. falciparum分离株在基因组水平上是否存在差异。
实验重点在于揭示该寄生虫基因组不同区域可能存在的扩增或缺失现象。
整体实验设计:采用安捷伦(Agilent)双色实验平台,使用由班加罗尔Genotypic Technology公司基于安捷伦平台定制的恶性疟原虫3D7株2×400K比较基因组杂交(Comparative Genomic Hybridization, CGH)芯片(AMADID编号:G4124A_025327)。
