Data and code for Unlocking agro-industrial residues for decentralized bioenergy across the Brazilian Legal Amazon: Spatial availability, multimodal logistics, seasonal reliability and robust siting

Frozen analysis-ready data and code archive supporting the study “Unlocking agro-industrial residues for decentralized bioenergy across the Brazilian Legal Amazon: Spatial availability, multimodal logistics, seasonal reliability and robust siting”. This deposit contains the analytical data, geospatial layers, model inputs and outputs, quality-assurance records, methodological notes, and source code used to develop the study. The archive covers the full analytical chain from agricultural-residue accounting and crop-specific spatialization to multimodal logistics, seasonal supply and storage, isolated-system demand reconciliation, robust hub siting, technology-conversion sensitivity, and economic screening. The repository includes canonical residue and source registries; corrected PAM and PEVS inputs; crop-specific spatial datasets including MapBiomas second-crop maize layers; hybrid DNIT–IBGE road-network products; waterway and terminal assignments; multimodal origin–destination matrices; monthly biomass-supply and storage-consolidation inputs; EPE and ONS isolated-system demand layers; transfer-constrained routing outputs; fossil-aware robust hub solutions; and conversion and economic sensitivity outputs through the final v0.21 accounting boundary. The deposit also contains analytical pipeline scripts, original Windows runners, Google Earth Engine code, dependency information, machine-readable manifests, checksums, data dictionaries, provenance information, and manuscript map-generation scripts, including standalone scripts for the study-area and opportunity-landscape maps. Final manuscript figures are intentionally not included in this repository, because they are provided with the article. The manuscript and Supplementary Material are likewise not duplicated here. The scripts and underlying analytical inputs required to regenerate the manuscript cartography are preserved in the archive.
