Screen star Debbie Reynolds arrived at Los Angeles International Airport today (Sept. 1) aboard Trans World Airlines non-stop Ambassador flight from New York after a brief visit with singer Eddie Fisher. Carrying a toy stuffed lion Eddie had given her, Debbie declined comment on whether or not she and Fisher planned to be married. ‘I just went to New York for a brief visit,’ she said. ‘Whatever is decided will be decided in the future. We have to know each other better.’ She pointed out that the couple had met only three months ago. When asked if she loved Eddie, Debbie smiled and replied. ‘I only answer that to Eddie.’ She admitted, however, that they are going steady. Debbie was accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Raymond Reynolds”.
