SIFO 1989: The natural step

This study was carried out by the Swedish Institute of Public Opinion Research (SIFO) at the request of an environmental campaign called ´Det naturliga steget´. The survey was conducted on two occasions: initially prior to the implementation of the campaign “The Natural Step” and subsequently following its conclusion. It included items measuring respondents’ concerns over the past year, their interest in and knowledge of environmental issues, perceived causes of environmental problems, and the degree of concern regarding specific environmental threats. Additional questions assessed levels of trust in various societal actors in relation to environmental matters, as well as individual engagement in environmentally beneficial activities. The post-campaign survey also incorporated questions regarding exposure to the campaign and respondents’ perceptions of its content and impact.

本研究由瑞典民意调查研究所（Swedish Institute of Public Opinion Research, SIFO）应名为"Det naturliga steget"的环保运动委托开展。本次调研分两阶段进行：首次于"自然阶梯（The Natural Step）"运动启动前完成，第二次则在该运动落幕之后开展。调研问卷涵盖多项测量维度，包括受访者过往一年的担忧情绪、对环境议题的兴趣与认知水平、对环境问题成因的主观判断，以及针对特定环境威胁的担忧程度。另有若干附加问题用于评估受访者对各类社会行为主体在环境事务方面的信任程度，以及个体参与环境友好型活动的情况。运动结束后的调研还增设了关于受访者接触该运动的情况，以及其对运动内容与影响的认知的相关问题。
