A three component mix of thioredoxin-L2 antigens elicits broadly neutralizing responses against oncogenic human papillomaviruses.

The epitope sequence was provided in Rubio et al. Vaccine 2009 27:1949 [PMID 19368776]. The L1 pseudovirion-based neutralization assay (L1-PBNA) was used to determine immunogenicity and cross-reactivity of peptide 20-38 constructs. Multivalent immunogens containing combinations or mixtures of the 20-38 epitope from related HPV types also induced reactivity against the antigen.
