Assessing Native-Liver Post-Kasai Portoenterostomy for biliary atresia through Stool Proteome Analysis

In this prospective study, we analyzed stool proteomes from four patients with well-controlled conditions, four patients with recurrent cholangitis, and three patients with prolonged jaundice but no cholangitis, all of whom had undergone Kasai portoenterostomy for biliary atresia (BA). The study also included 15 healthy controls without BA.

本前瞻性研究中，我们对4例病情控制良好的胆道闭锁（biliary atresia, BA）患者、4例复发性胆管炎患者以及3例伴持续性黄疸但无胆管炎的胆道闭锁患者的粪便蛋白质组进行了分析，所有上述受试者均曾接受针对胆道闭锁的葛西门静脉肠吻合术（Kasai portoenterostomy）治疗。本研究同时纳入了15例无胆道闭锁的健康对照个体。
