The trees continue around the bank which curves around the river's edge until it bends out of view to the right in the background. A rounded hillside stained with spots of grass stands in the background on the left while faint peaks continue along the riverside into the distance. Photoprint reads "I think this is a lovely picture of the Colorado River. The old mining town of pieaebo[?] was situated on the point. You may keep this".
