ACE-1: GMS-5 VIS Aircraft Track Imagery. Version 1.0

GMS-5 Visible (VIS) imagery (with aircraft track overlaid on plot )collected during ACE-1 Intensive Operations in Hobart, Tasmania, via the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, then converted to GIF image format. These images consist of the Southern Ocean (image center 49 deg S, 142 deg E), 4 km resolution, collected every hour. Digital McIDAS Area Format data files were collected hourly at OFPS from which these GIF images were created.

GMS-5可见光（VIS）影像（图像上叠加有飞机航迹）是在塔斯马尼亚州霍巴特开展的ACE-1强化作业期间，通过澳大利亚气象局采集，并转换为GIF图像格式。这些图像覆盖南大洋（图像中心位于南纬49度、东经142度），分辨率为4千米，每小时采集一次。数字McIDAS区域格式（Digital McIDAS Area Format）的数据文件每小时在OFPS采集，此类文件经处理生成了上述GIF图像。
