Clustering-Based Characterization of Productive Scale in Colombian Transitory Crop Production: Departmental-Level Segmentation Dataset (2007–2024)

This dataset contains the processed and aggregated departmental-level data used in the productive scale segmentation analysis of Colombian transitory crops for the period 2007–2024. It is derived from the Evaluaciones Agropecuarias Municipales (EVA), published by the Colombian Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR). The dataset includes 15,077 records corresponding to 490 department–crop pairs across 56 crops and 32 departments, representing 90.65% of total cumulative production in the sector. Each record contains semi-annual observations of planted area (ha), harvested area (ha), production (t), and yield (t/ha), together with engineered features used for K-Means clustering: average production, average planted area, number of active periods, temporal Herfindahl–Hirschman Index (HHI), and spatial HHI. The clustering results assign each pair to one of three productive scales (large, medium, or small). A supplementary file includes the full segmentation output with cluster labels and descriptive statistics per group.

本数据集包含经处理与聚合的省域级数据，用于2007-2024年哥伦比亚短期作物的生产规模划分分析。该数据集源自哥伦比亚农业与农村发展部（Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development，缩写MADR）发布的《市级农业评估报告》（Evaluaciones Agropecuarias Municipales，缩写EVA）。数据集共包含15077条记录，对应56种作物、32个省域的490组省域-作物配对，覆盖该农业领域累计总产量的90.65%。每条记录包含播种面积（公顷，ha）、收获面积（公顷，ha）、总产量（吨，t）与单产（吨/公顷，t/ha）的半年度观测数据，同时包含用于K均值（K-Means）聚类的工程化特征：平均产量、平均播种面积、活跃周期数、时间维度赫芬达尔-赫希曼指数（Herfindahl–Hirschman Index，缩写HHI）与空间维度HHI。聚类结果将每组省域-作物配对划分为大型、中型与小型三大生产规模层级。附带补充文件，包含完整的规模划分输出结果，其中标注了聚类标签与各组的描述性统计量。
