OverviewWe analyzed the SE podcast landscape and surveyed researchers on podcasts' potential as a research resource. This package contains the following: podcast_characterization_sheet_with_spotify_details.csv: a tabular overview of the sampled 216 podcasts and their extracted attributes as of June 2025. data_se-podcasts_2025-05-13_16-02.csv: raw (anonymized) survey responses. scripts: a folder with three .ipynb script files for data analysis (one for finding podcasts, one for analyzing the landscape, one for analyzing survey data) survey materials: a full export of our survey from SoScisurvey, including a print version of the survey and the codebook. figures: PDF versions of all figures we included in the paper.
