Acinetobacter baumannii is a gram-negative bacteria which associated with hospital-acquired infection. It's considered a world wild problem due to it's major resistance to several class of antibiotic including colistin that was considered the last resort of treatment. in this study collected clinical samples from ICU patient in Egyptian hospital was screened for microbial resistance specially colistin resistance and the underlying mechanism of the resistance.
