Gland Sequencing of the Soybean Cyst Nematode

The goal of this project was to develop a transcriptomic resource to use for effector discovery in early parasitic stages of the soybean cyst nematode (Heterodera glycines). To identify effector transcripts and variation involved in the host parasite exchange, we extracted Heterodera glycines gland cells from an avirulent PA3 nematode and a virulent MM10 nematode and sequenced the RNA.

本项目旨在构建一套转录组资源，以用于大豆胞囊线虫（Heterodera glycines）早期寄生阶段的效应因子（effector）挖掘。为鉴定参与寄主-寄生互作的效应因子转录本及其序列变异，本研究从无致病力PA3线虫与强致病力MM10线虫中提取了大豆胞囊线虫的腺细胞，并进行了RNA测序。
