Biologic Treatment Outcomes in Refractory Chronic Urticaria: A Systematic Review

Chronic Urticaria is an allergic condition of the skin characterized by recurrent, pruritic wheals and angioedema spanning at least 6 weeks. Initial treatment involves the use of oral antihistamine therapy, with adjunct leukotriene receptor antagonist therapy in severe cases. Systemic biologics are often reserved for patient’s refractory to initial therapy. This systematic review examines the treatment outcomes of systemic biologics in patients with refractory chronic urticaria.

慢性荨麻疹（Chronic Urticaria）是一种皮肤过敏性病症，以复发性瘙痒性风团及血管性水肿为特征，且此类症状持续发作至少6周。该疾病的初始治疗采用口服抗组胺疗法，重症患者可辅以白三烯受体拮抗剂治疗。系统性生物制剂通常仅用于对初始治疗难治的患者。本系统综述探讨了系统性生物制剂治疗难治性慢性荨麻疹患者的治疗结局。
