This study assessed whether ctDNA based treatment response monitoring could be performed in a tumor tissue-independent manner by combining ultra-deep targeted sequencing analyses of cfDNA with patient-matched white blood cell (WBC) derived DNA. In total, 183 cfDNA and 49 WBC samples, along with 28 tissue samples, from 52 metastatic colorectal cancer patients participating in the prospective phase III CAIRO5 clinical trial (NCT02162563) were analyzed using the PGDx elio plasma resolve assay.EGA study EGAS00001006695

本研究旨在评估,通过将无细胞DNA(cell-free DNA, cfDNA)的超深度靶向测序分析与患者匹配的白细胞(white blood cell, WBC)衍生DNA相结合,能否以不依赖肿瘤组织的方式开展基于循环肿瘤DNA(circulating tumor DNA, ctDNA)的治疗反应监测。本研究共纳入参与前瞻性III期CAIRO5临床试验(NCT02162563)的52例转移性结直肠癌患者的183份cfDNA样本、49份WBC样本以及28份组织样本,所有样本均采用PGDx elio血浆解析检测试剂盒完成分析。欧洲基因组学档案(European Genome-phenome Archive, EGA)研究编号:EGAS00001006695
