Zircon U-Pb geochronology and Cambrian Lu-Hf isotope analysis were employed to trace sediment provenance for Devonian samples collected from the Qinzhou-Fangcheng area and its adjacent regions. Two evolutionary stages of the Qinzhou-Fangcheng region were proposed: 1) an intracontinental basin formed by erosion of eastern Gondwana and eastern Cathaysia blocks during the Early Paleozoic; 2) a foreland basin in the Yunkai Mountain area since the Middle Devonian. This dataset includes sample names, spot numbers, Th/U ratio, 207Pb/206Pb, 207Pb/235U, 206Pb/238U, 207Pb/206Pb, 207Pb/235U, 206Pb/238U, 176Hf/177Hf, 176Lu/177Hf, 176Yb/177Hf, εHf(t), and TDM. The analytical results were used to constrain diagenetic ages via zircon geochronology, yielding magmatic ages ranging from 3449 Ma to 324 Ma. These results are of great significance for studying regional magmatism and tectonic settings, with the total estimated number of dataset records being 800.
