Raw data used to examine the relationship between diel timing of parturition for mule deer and predictor variables related to environmental conditions and female body condition. Environmental variables included proportion of the moon illuminated, mean temperature, and total precipitation on the date of parturition. Our index of female body condition was IFBF in February–March of the parturition year.

本数据集所用原始数据用于检验骡鹿（mule deer）分娩的昼夜定时与环境条件、雌性个体身体状况相关预测变量之间的关系。其中环境变量包括分娩当日的月面照亮占比、平均气温及总降水量。本研究用以表征雌性身体状况的指标为分娩年份2-3月测得的IFBF。
