The First Transcriptome of the Calanoid Copepod Pseudodiaptomus annandalei

mRNA from the Calanoid Copepod Pseudodiaptomus annandalei was extracted from animals in long term culture. Animals in all life stages was used for experiments. Using the Truseq stranded mRNA kit from illumina, a sequencing library was constructed and sequenced on the NextSeq platform 2x150 nt. This procedure is similar to the one our lab have previously used to produce transcriptomes from several other copepod species.

安氏伪镖水蚤（Pseudodiaptomus annandalei，隶属于哲水蚤类桡足动物Calanoid Copepod）的信使RNA（mRNA）从长期培养的个体中提取。本研究使用该物种全生命阶段的个体开展实验。采用Illumina公司的Truseq链特异性mRNA建库试剂盒（Truseq stranded mRNA kit）构建测序文库，并在NextSeq测序平台上完成2×150 nt双端测序。该实验流程与本实验室此前为多种其他桡足类物种构建转录组所采用的方法相近。
