This project provides component capacity limit state (CCLS) benchmark values for uniform comparison of component fragilities associated with the various abutment backwall modeling schemes. The bridge components considered in this project include columns, pier wall, piles, shafts, bearings, strip seal, and unseating. Photos of the corresponding damage states of each bridge component have been collected. Most of the data were obtained through experimental results, papers, and reconnaissance reports. A column curvature metric for local section damage has been developed from numerical analysis. Preliminary simplified documents of sample of abutments from California bridge inventory are included.
本项目提供构件承载力极限状态(CCLS)基准值,用于统一比较与各类桥台背墙建模方案相关的构件易损性。本项目考虑的桥梁构件包括桥墩柱、墩墙、桩、桩身、支座、条形密封件及落梁。已收集各桥梁构件对应损伤状态的照片。大部分数据来源于试验结果、学术论文及现场勘查报告。基于数值分析,已构建用于表征局部截面损伤的桥墩柱曲率指标。包含加州桥梁数据库中桥台样本的初步简化文档。
