These are supplementary tables for the paper "Carbon sequestration of the middle Miocene Sunda Shelf facilitated global climate change" by Ma et al. (2022). Table S1 includes stratigraphic thickness and shale/mudstone proportions of the MCO and MMCT strata constrained by drilling sites. Table S2 includes the TOC and S2 data collected from the published literature. Tables S3 are the lower, median, and upper estimates for the organic carbon burial of the sedimentary polygons during the MCO and MMCT periods.
