Complete genome sequence of Pseudomonas aeruginosa NCGM1900. Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain:NCGM1900

Multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa has become a threating nosocomial pathogen worldwide. P. aeruginosa NCGM1900 clinical isolate harbors a metallo-beta-lactamase gene blaIMP-34 and aminoglycoside 6'-N-acetyltransferase gene aac(6')-Ib, which are associated with highly multidrug-resistance. In order to clarify the mechanism of the acquisition of drug-resistant genes, the complete genome sequence of the NCGM1900 was determined.

多重耐药铜绿假单胞菌已成为全球范围内极具威胁的院内病原菌。临床分离株铜绿假单胞菌NCGM1900携带有金属β-内酰胺酶基因blaIMP-34与氨基糖苷6'-N-乙酰转移酶基因aac(6')-Ib，这两类基因均与多重高度耐药密切相关。为阐明耐药基因的获得机制，研究人员完成了该菌株的全基因组序列测定。
