Woodlot Data Set 3

Collected data on a transcript in the nearby woodlot close to the Northern Essex Community College campus. Randomly, a spot on a trail was picked as the starting point. From that point, we picked an ideal compass heading to follow for our transect. On the transect we recorded the trees that fell on it and also it's nearest neighbor. We recorded the circumference of the tree, species, health, and the distance to the nearest neighbor and what species it was.

本数据集采集自北埃塞克斯社区学院校区周边小片林地的样带（transect）调查。调查首先随机选取步道上的一处点位作为起始点，随后从该点选定适宜的罗盘航向开展样带行进调查。沿样带行进过程中，我们记录了倒伏于样带上的所有树木，并针对每棵此类树木，采集其周长、物种、健康状况，以及该树木与最近邻个体的距离和最近邻个体的物种信息。
