Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data (version 2) acquired along the East Pacific Rise (EPR) Spreading Center during the Melville expedition SOJN01MV (1996)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam 2000 Multibeam Sonar system during Melville expedition SOJN01MV conducted in 1996 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Daniel Scheirer). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Swath Bathymetry data and were processed at sea using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1.
