Version 07 is the current version of the data set. Older versions will no longer be available and have been superseded by Version 07. This is a precipitation product created from the combination of the Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) Microwave Imager (GMI) and Dual-frequency Precipitation Radar (DPR) instruments. Similar product, using the GPM algorithm, has been created for the TRMM epoch (December 1997 - April 2015), and can be found under the name GPM_3CMB_TRMM

本数据集的现行版本为07版，所有旧版本均已停用，且由07版取代。该降水产品由全球降水测量（Global Precipitation Measurement, GPM）系统搭载的微波成像仪（Microwave Imager, GMI）与双频降水雷达（Dual-frequency Precipitation Radar, DPR）联合观测数据融合生成。采用GPM算法的同类降水产品已针对热带降雨测量任务（Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission, TRMM）时段（1997年12月—2015年4月）生成，可通过名称GPM_3CMB_TRMM获取。
