An outbreak of anthrax in Liaoning province, Northeast of China in August of 2012 resulted in 7 persons infected and dozens of cows dead. This strain of Bacillus anthracis was isolated from dead cow.
2012年8月，中国东北辽宁省暴发炭疽疫情，造成7人感染、数十头奶牛死亡。研究人员从死亡奶牛体内分离得到了此株炭疽芽孢杆菌（Bacillus anthracis）。
