Data is collected from a research project by CESDA, university of aircraft pilots.The project aims to compare the engagement and workload between two different flight simulators: a conventional flight simulator (FSTD) and a virtual reality flight simulator (VR).The dataset comprises 29 student pilot participants (identified as A1 to A29 for confidentiality purposes).<br><br>It includes the following information for each participant:Empatica E4 data for both VR and FSTD experiments, providing physiological responses during the simulations.Chronometer data, synchronized with Empatica E4 data, to record the time periods of different flight tasks.NASA-TLX questionnaire responses, collected after each VR and FSTD experiment, to assess subjective workload.Flight hours experience of each pilot student at the time of the experiment.The data collected in this research project aims to shed light on the differences in engagement and workload experienced by student pilots in the two types of flight simulators, providing valuable insights for aviation training and simulator design.
