Data Source: Novel-related utility model patent data from the Chinese Patent Database.

The dataset is developed based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) model. Eight value dimensions, including patent validity period, number of inventors, agency status, cited count, citing count, family patent count, number of claims, and litigation count, are selected to assign corresponding coefficients. The sum of the eight dimension scores is defined as the comprehensive patent value, and the IFS function is utilized to conduct patent value judgment, so as to evaluate the value of existing patents and provide technical support for technicians in this field, market entities, and achievement transformation institutions.

The specific algorithm rules are as follows:
1. Patent validity period score: Calculated as the number of years from the data download date (September 21, 2023) to the estimated expiration date of the patent, with 1 point awarded per year.
2. Number of inventors score: 1 point awarded for each inventor.
3. Agency status score: 5 points if the patent has an entrusted agency, 0 points otherwise.
4. Cited count score: +10 points for each time the patent is cited by other patents.
5. Citing count score: +2 points for each other patent cited by the current patent.
6. Family patent count score: Taking 1 family patent as the baseline, +1 point for each additional family patent.
7. Number of claims score: Taking 10 claims as the baseline, -1 point for each fewer claim, +1 point for each additional claim.
8. Litigation count score: +50 points for each litigation case involving the patent.

The final calculated score is rounded to the nearest integer.
