Health status of forests and above ground biomass in Bucegi - Piatra Craiului LTER_EU_RO_002

In 2011 and 2012, 3101 respectively 3125 trees were evaluated according with ICP Forest Manual in Bucegi - Piatra Craiului LTER site. For most species, the most suitable time for the assessment is mid- to late summer. Defoliation is defined as needle/leaf loss in the assessable crown as compared to a reference tree. Defoliation is assessed in 5% steps. These classes are 0, 5 ( more than0-5%), 10 ( more than5-10%) and so on. The uploaded data presents values in accordance with these criteria.

2011年与2012年，研究人员分别在布切吉-皮亚特拉·克劳伊长期生态研究（Long-Term Ecological Research, LTER）样地内，依照《ICP森林手册（ICP Forest Manual）》对3101株与3125株树木开展了评估。针对绝大多数树种而言，适宜开展评估的时段为仲夏至夏末。失叶率（Defoliation）的定义为：相较于参照树，可评估树冠内的针叶或叶片脱落量。失叶率以5%为梯度进行分级，分级标准依次为0、5（大于0且≤5%）、10（大于5且≤10%），依此类推。本次上传的数据集即包含符合上述评估准则的实测数据。
