Plasma and faecal metabolomic data, and intestinal microbial communities of mice exposed to cold temperature or RT.

Mice were allocated into three groups: the room temperature (RT) group maintained at 24°C; the cold group exposed to 4°C for four hours daily, with the remaining time spent at RT; and the continuous cold (CC) group kept in a sustained cold (4°C) environment. After four-week intervention, mice were anaesthetized, and plasma and faecal samples were harvested for untargeted metabolomics. Faecal samples were also collected for shotgun metagenomics.

实验小鼠被分为三组：室温（Room Temperature, RT）组，饲养环境温度维持为24℃；冷暴露组，每日于4℃环境中暴露4小时，其余时段维持于室温环境；持续冷暴露（Continuous Cold, CC）组，饲养于持续维持4℃的低温环境中。经过为期4周的干预处理后，对小鼠实施麻醉，采集血浆与粪便样本用于非靶向代谢组学分析；同时额外采集粪便样本以开展鸟枪法宏基因组学检测。
