The study aimed to investigate the composition and dynamic changes of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) during the treatment of pig manure, chicken manure, cattle manure, and food waste by Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL, <i>Hermetia illucens</i>), to reveal the molecular mechanisms underlying the odor formation of frass, and to provide strategic basis for odor control. Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) and Gas Chromatography (GC) were employed to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the types and concentrations of VOCs at different treatment stages and under varying larval densities; combined with high-throughput sequencing of microbial communities, the microbial driving mechanisms of VOC succession were analyzed. The dataset is the sequencing results of microbial communities.
本研究旨在探究黑水虻幼虫(Black Soldier Fly Larvae, BSFL,学名<i>Hermetia illucens</i>)处理猪粪、鸡粪、牛粪及餐厨垃圾过程中挥发性有机化合物(Volatile Organic Compounds, VOCs)的组成及其动态变化,以揭示虫粪异味形成的分子机制,为异味防控提供策略依据。研究采用气相色谱-质谱联用法(Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry, GC-MS)与气相色谱法(Gas Chromatography, GC),对不同处理阶段、不同幼虫密度下的VOCs种类与浓度进行定性与定量分析;结合微生物群落高通量测序技术,解析VOCs演替的微生物驱动机制。本数据集即为微生物群落的测序结果。
