McMurdo Dry Valleys Seasonal Effects on Soil Biota

Investigation of the effect of long-term variation in soil moisture and soil temperature on nematode anhydrobiosis as part of the McMurdo Dry Valleys Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) project. The percent of anhydrobiotic (coiled) nematodes with relation to season was determined. 作为麦克默多干谷（McMurdo Dry Valleys）长期生态研究（Long Term Ecological Research, LTER）项目的组成部分，本研究针对土壤水分与土壤温度的长期变化对线虫脱水隐生的影响展开调查。本研究测定了呈卷曲状态的脱水隐生线虫占比与季节的关联关系。本次研究于1997-1998年南极夏季分三次独立采样开展，采样日期分别为1997年11月21日、1997年12月16日及1998年1月13日，采样点位位于霍尔湖（Lake Hoare）南侧区域。
