Haemaphysalis longicornis strain:JY-2022 Genome sequencing and assembly

Haemaphysalis longicornis is a tick distributes in Asia and some Pacific Rim regions. It is involved in transmission of multiple pathogens as a vector. The Oita strain has been maintained for more than a couple of decade in Japan. Therefore, we will enable to provide the tick together with its genome information as a bioresource expecting better understanding of tick-pathogen interaction and establishing countermeasures.

长角血蜱（Haemaphysalis longicornis）是分布于亚洲及部分环太平洋区域的蜱类，可作为媒介生物传播多种病原体。大分株（Oita strain）已在日本保藏超过二十年。因此，本研究将提供该蜱种及其基因组信息作为生物资源，以期助力蜱-病原体互作机制的深入解析，并为相关防控策略的建立提供支撑。
