Loggerhead turtles in Slovenian and adjacent waters (north Adriatic Sea) in 2002-2008

This dataset, collected by Morigenos, comprises sightings of loggerhead sea turtles (<i>Caretta caretta</i>) in Slovenian and adjacent waters of the north Adriatic Sea, between 2002 and 2008. Dataset was collected as part of a long-term program for the study, monitoring and conservation of bottlenose dolphins (<i>Tursiops truncatus</i>). This resulted in one of the largest datasets on free-ranging marine turtles in the north Adriatic Sea.
