Affymetrix HuGene ST 1.0 microarrays were used to study and compare gene expression in peripheral blood CD8+ T cells of human patients with Acute Infectious Mononucleosis (AIM; acute EBV infection) and during convalescence (CONV; 6-12 months after AIM visit). Blood samples were drawn from ten human patients with AIM and again during their covalescence (CONV). Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were isolated and cryopreserved. Paired AIM and CONV samples were thawed and CD8+ T cells purified with magnetic beads. RNA was isolated and processed for hybridization according to the Affymetrix protocol CD8+ T cells acute and convalescent phase of EBV infection (10 subjects)

本研究采用Affymetrix公司的HuGene ST 1.0 微阵列(microarrays),对人类急性传染性单核细胞增多症(Acute Infectious Mononucleosis, AIM;EB病毒急性感染)患者及其恢复期(CONV;首次确诊AIM后6至12个月)的外周血CD8+T细胞基因表达水平开展研究与对比。本研究共纳入10名AIM患者,分别在其急性感染期及恢复期采集外周血样本;随后分离外周血单个核细胞并进行冷冻保存。将配对的急性感染期与恢复期样本解冻后,使用磁珠纯化CD8+T细胞,提取核糖核酸(RNA)并按照Affymetrix标准实验流程完成杂交处理。本数据集对应EB病毒感染急性期与恢复期的CD8+T细胞样本(共10名受试者)。
