Snow stratigraphy measurements during the ALERT2018 campaign

Snow stratigraphy measurements, including snow grain type & size and layer thickness & hardness, were obtained doing classical snow pits during the ALERT2018 campaign in May 2018 over the sea ice in the Lincoln Sea. Snow pits were taken at representative locations of the floes. Measurements were done on an undisturbed shaded working wall of the snow pit.雪层地层测量（snow stratigraphy measurements）数据涵盖雪粒类型与大小、雪层厚度与硬度，这些数据是在2018年5月林肯海海冰区域开展的ALERT2018活动期间，通过传统雪坑（classical snow pits）获取的。雪坑设置于浮冰的代表性位置，所有测量均在雪坑未受干扰的阴影工作壁上进行。
