Population genetic analyses of Leiopathes glaberrima samples collected from the northern Gulf of Mexico between August 2009 and November 2010

Ten microsatellite loci were investigated to determine finer-scale population genetic structure and reproductive characteristics in 2011 colonies of the black coral Leiopathes glaberrima. Coral samples were collected in the northern Gulf of Mexico between August 2009 and November 2010.
