The objective of this study was to work with Agroecology with visually impaired students through the construction of a compost bin at the school. This research was conducted at the Hélio Góes Institute -Society for the Assistance of the Blind, Fortaleza, CE, Brazil. To conduct this work, questionnaires were administered before and after the activity. It was found that 58.3% of the students were unaware of Agroecology, but 58.3% were familiar with the composting technique. At the end of the activities, 90% of the students had understood what Agroecology represented, as well as the importance of composting for environmental conservation.
本研究旨在通过在学校建造堆肥箱,与视障学生共同开展农业生态学(Agroecology)相关实践。该研究于巴西塞阿拉州福塔莱萨市的埃利奥·戈伊斯盲人援助协会研究所(Hélio Góes Institute - Society for the Assistance of the Blind)开展。研究过程中,在活动前后分别发放了问卷。结果显示,58.3%的学生此前对农业生态学一无所知,但有58.3%的学生熟悉堆肥技术。活动结束后,90%的学生不仅理解了农业生态学的内涵,还认识到堆肥对于环境保护的重要性。
