Short-term MYTHO knockdown (KD) mRNA expression data for the mouse muscle (n=4 per group) were obtained using Affymetrix Mouse Clariom S Assay (Affymetrix, Santa Carla, CA) according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Overall design: Mouse (~10-wk-old) Gastroc muscles were transfected with an AAV containing a U6 promoter, a sequence coding for a sh-RNA targeted the product of the 230025D16Rik gene (the gene coding for Mytho). A control AAV containing a scramble sh-RNA sequence under the control of the U6 promoter was injected into the contralateral leg. Mice were sacrificed 3 weeks later and total RNA was extracted. 4 muscles were used for each condition.
