The Four Core Genotypes (FCG) mouse model independently segregates gonadal development and sex chromosomes, which allows for the impact of gonadal and chromosomal sex to be evaluated. We evaluated the impact of biological sex on hepatic transcriptome in the FCG mice with intact gonads and gonadectomized after a high-fat diet. Overall design: High-throughput sequencing of liver total RNA from Four Core Genotypes (FCG) mice with intact gonads and gonadectomized (GDX) fed a HFD for 11 wks and 15 wks, respectively.
四核心基因型(Four Core Genotypes, FCG)小鼠模型可实现性腺发育与性染色体的独立分离,从而能够分别评估性腺性别与染色体性别所产生的影响。本研究针对喂食高脂饮食(high-fat diet, HFD)后的性腺完整与性腺切除(gonadectomized, GDX)FCG小鼠,评估了生物性别对其肝脏转录组的影响。整体实验设计:分别对喂食HFD 11周及15周的性腺完整型与性腺切除型FCG小鼠的肝脏总RNA进行高通量测序。
