The genomic raw data of the White Wax Insect

White Wax Insect was one of the important economic insects in south China because of it secretes white wax. Furthermore, the female and male have different developmental pattern, the female is heterometabolous but male is hyperpaurometamorphosis. So, we are aimed at researching the molecular mechanism of two type of development and the insects how to secrete the white wax. Now, we provide the raw data of genomic sequencing of White Was insect.

白蜡虫（White Wax Insect）是中国南方重要的经济昆虫之一，因其可分泌白蜡而具备极高经济价值。此外，该昆虫雌雄个体的发育模式存在显著差异：雌性为不全变态发育，雄性为过渐变态发育。本研究旨在探究这两类发育模式的分子机制，以及该昆虫分泌白蜡的分子机理。现公开提供白蜡虫的基因组测序原始数据。
