Role of hypothalamic microglial activation on ventricular arrhythmias in stress cardiomyopathy

Conclusions: Immobilization stress induced SCM in SD rats can activate hypothalamic microglia, and the activated microglia are specifically enriched at PVN, which can increase the central and peripheral sympathetic nerve activity by regulating the expression of neuro-inflammatory factor, mediate left heart dysfunction and increase the susceptibility to ventricular fibrillation.
结论:束缚应激诱导的SD大鼠应激性心肌病(Stress Cardiomyopathy, SCM)可激活下丘脑小胶质细胞,且活化的小胶质细胞会在室旁核(Paraventricular nucleus, PVN)特异性富集;其可通过调控神经炎症因子的表达增强中枢与外周交感神经活动,介导左心功能障碍,并提升心室颤动易感性。
