Step selection of loggerhead sea turtles along migration in the Gulf of America 2008-2015

This dataset contains step lengths of individual loggerhead sea turtles tracked during their migration in the Gulf of America from 2008 to 2015. Information contained in the dataset includes platform terminal transmitter (PTT) number (a unique identifier for each turtle), the length of each move, year, location in either neritic or oceanic waters, date, longitude, latitude, difference between water direction and turtle direction of travel (in degrees), nighttime sea surface temperature, direction of surface water (degrees), and absolute magnitude of water velocity at surface (meters per second).

本数据集包含2008年至2015年间于美洲湾迁徙过程中被追踪的单只蠵龟的移动步长数据。数据集内包含的信息如下：每只海龟的唯一标识——平台终端发射器（platform terminal transmitter，缩写PTT）编号、单次移动距离、年份、栖息海域类型（浅海或远洋海域）、日期、经度、纬度、水流方向与海龟行进方向的差值（单位：度）、夜间海面水温、表层水流方向（单位：度）以及表层水流绝对流速（单位：米/秒）。
