Unemployment rate in Russia quarterly 2019-2024, by region

In the third quarter of 2024, the unemployment rate in Russia was the highest in the North Caucasian Federal District at 8.3 percent. The lowest figure was recorded in the Central Federal District at 1.7 percent. In the second and third quarters of 2020, unemployment sharply increased in the country due to the crisis caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
