Occurrence data of the invasive bug Boisea trivittata for niche shift analysis in Mediterranean Chile

This dataset contains curated occurrence records for the western boxelder bug, Boisea trivittata, including its native range and its invaded range in the Mediterranean region of Central Chile. The data have been cleaned and validated using the CoordinateCleaner R package to ensure taxonomic and geographic accuracy (e.g., removing duplicates, records in sea, and coordinates near institutional capitals). Technical Note: This dataset consists exclusively of presence coordinates (latitude/longitude). Please note that while the data are cleaned, the spatial thinning filter (filter.raster from biomod2) has NOT been applied to this file. Environmental background data and bioclimatic variables are not included.
