Whole genome sequence of Bacillus velezensis strain SNR14-4

Antimicrobial resistance has been a superseding threat that imposes as an unrivalled element in disease prevalence for humans and other organisms. The heart of the present study lies at an elaborate exploration of a novel strain of Bacillus velezensis isolated from Tilapia from fresh water pond located at Kochi, India. that has shown appreciable resistance against prevalent fish pathogens such as Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Listeria monocytogenes and Flavobacterium spp.
